Boats
GUN BOAT
The Gunboat is a small fast boat that mounts guns in the front and back, they can be useful for littoral defense and patrol but lack long-range weapons and must rely on speed.
MISSILE BOAT
The Missile Boat carries long-range strike missiles making up for its small size with powerful long-range weapons, its small size, however, limits the number of missiles it can carry limiting its usefulness in prolonged sea deployments.
PATROL BOAT
The Patrol boat is designed to protect the coastlines and interdict ships suspected of violating their maritime rights. The Patrol boat can stay at sea for weeks at a time but doesn’t have the food stores and deep water capability making limiting how far it can operate from shore.
MINESWEEPER
The Mine Sweeper’s role is to detect and destroy sea mines, it can also lay those same mines.
LANDING CRAFT
The Landing craft can carry ground vehicles up the beach and deploy them inland, Landing craft can carry tanks and armored vehicles ashore.
HOVERCRAFT
The Hovercraft is similar in role to a landing craft only a hovercraft can move on land and moves on top of the water.
Capital Ships
CORVETTE
The Corvette is the smallest naval warship class that is considered ocean-worthy. The Corvette usually carries self-protection systems and offensive anti-shipping weapons, primarily designed for surface combat and anti-submarine warfare.
FRIGATE
The Frigate is one of the oldest classes of warships, modern frigates can be configured for anti-ship, anti-sub, or anti-air, but not all three, forcing them to pick between these capabilities.
DESTROYER
The Destroyer is the backbone of most modern navies, modern destroyers carry both anti-ship, anti-air, and anti-sub weapons not having to trade and being large enough to absorb damage from smaller anti-ship missiles.
CRUISER
The Cruisers maximize missile inventory and multi-mission capabilities they can host drones, helicopters, and combat boats which allows for a mix of capabilities.
Major Capital Ships
BATTLE CRUISER
The Battle Cruiser is an expansion of the bigger is a better concept for land missile-loaded warships. Battle Cruisers carry the most missile tubes and advanced battle management systems allowing them to operate as the command centers for naval operations.
AIRCRAFT CARRIER
The Aircraft Carrier is the ultimate military status symbol its ability to project air power from offshore lets it strikes other surface ships, and submarines. Its size makes it a huge target and it must be defended at all costs.
HELICOPTER CARRIER
The Helicopter carrier is smaller than an aircraft carrier, and can launch helicopters and troops into battle they often come with enough firepower to invade a small country.
ASSAULT SHIP
The Assault ship is designed to carry out the same type of operations as a carrier with a smaller force profile, the assault ship is much smaller and can blend in with commercial ocean traffic allowing it to operate in littorals with its high-speed and combination of missiles and helicopters, and amphibious vehicles.
Submarines
ATTACK SUBMARINE
The Attack Submarine is the primary underwater combat vessel, Attack submarines are designed to hunt other submarines and surface ships using a combination of missiles, torpedoes, and drones to target them from long distances.
GUIDED MISSILE SUBMARINE
The Guided Missile Submarines’ primary target is not other submarines or ships but land targets which uses a large mix of land attack missiles to target inland targets.
PATROL SUBMARINE
The Patrol Submarine is designed to patrol coastal waters and can be used in shallow water. Its electric propulsion system makes them quieter than nuclear submarines but can not operate with the same speed and deep diving.
SPECIAL SUBMARINE
The Specialized submarines can be used by special forces and sabotage teams to attack harbors and ships in port.
