ASSAULT VEHICLES
Assault Vehicles are designed to move cross-country under armored protection, attacking an objective; they often have a turret and at least one offensive weapon, which is usually a cannon used to destroy infantry or other armored vehicles. Main Battle Tanks and Infantry Fighting Vehicles are examples of assault vehicles. Their weakness is the heavy logistics requirements to operate them effectively.
Assault Vehicles must have ammo and fuel supplied to them during the battle. Moving their massive weight burns fuel quickly and must be resupplied over the course of a long battle or your forces will quickly find themselves surrounded.
They must also manage the supply and flow of ammo to forward bases. Without ammo, assault vehicles become useless targets for air and long-range weapons. Assault vehicles can be countered by airstrikes and long-range attacks which avoid direct contact with them. Combined arms movements with air defense units will keep you from being attacked from the air, but using your firepower and mobility you can quickly destroy anything you can find on the ground.
MAIN BATTLE TANK
The Main Battle Tank is the king on the battlefield, its heavy cannon is effective against all types of vehicles at long and medium ranges including other tanks. The MBT is equipped with heavy armor and must be supported by other units as its vulnerable to helicopters and aircraft, it also burns fuel and needs to be rearmed by ammo at FOBs.
FAV
The Fast Attack Vehicle is a highly mobile lightly armored vehicle that can quickly scout across the battlefield while keeping more heavily armored units updated on the locations of the enemy.
6X6 VEHICLE
The 6X6 Vehicle is a lighter WHEEL IFV. The 6X6 carries the same weapons but has even less armor with better road speed
TRACKED IFV
The Tracked Infantry Fighting Vehicle has the same heavy armor as a tank but is better suited for engaging infantry in close combat. The Tracked IFV can engage most threats and survive.
ARTILLERY
The Self Propelled Artillery guns can move around the battlefield and carry out artillery strikes on enemy positions, bunkers and depots. The Artillery is a major defensive unit being able to target enemies from long distances using coordinated fire.
MLRS
The Multiple Launcher Rocket System or MLRS is a rocket artillery system that allows a team to shower an area with fire. The MLRS can hit entire grids with fire and effectively destroy bunkers and unarmored vehicles. It must deploy to fire and can’t move while it shoots.
SHORT RANGE AA
Short Range Anti-Aircraft Artillery can target low-flying aircraft and helicopters effectively to a distance of under 100 km. SAM/AAA paired with radar makes a deadly system that can quickly target and lock onto targets. AAA can also be fired at ground targets its powerful cannons do damage to light and unarmored vehicles.
TANK DESTROYER
The TANK DESTROYER is equipped with the same heavy cannon as an MBT but in a lightly armored vehicle, the TANK DESTROYER trades speed for armored protection and must be aware of the battlefield at all times as they do not have the armored protection to absorb the main gun round.
SAM
The Surface to Air Missile system is used to protect airspace from aircraft and helicopters. The SAM can effectively cover large airspace using radar and guided missiles. SAM batteries can be extended by radar stations and radar vehicles that can be linked to them.
SRBM
The Short Range Ballistic Missile system is a tactical ballistic missile system used to strike command and control, Defenses, Radar, income-generating buildings, FARPs, FOBs, and or high-value static targets, the SRBM must deploy to fire and remains vulnerable but can effectively target any structure on the battlefield.
ASSAULT VEHICLE
The Assault Vehicle is designed to support tanks in urban combat. Using heavily armored, and armed with cannons and anti-tank missiles, it can engage targets with a high angle of attack and at close and medium ranges. Its main limits are its lack of a heavy cannon and its slow speeds.
SUPPLY TRUCK
The SUPPLY Truck can carry a large amount of FUEL, REPAIR, and AMMO points to the frontlines of the battlefield, the SUPPLY TRUCKS are unarmored and must be protected from attack.
HEAVY SUPPORT
The Heavy Support vehicle can carry heavy weapons and equipment to support friendly forces
APC
The APC can construct repair and supply bases (FARP or FOB), and radar stations. Defensive turrets can attack aircraft or other vehicles that get too close. The APC and SUPPLY TRUCK can carry fuel, ammo, and repair points from the main base to the forward bases allowing the assault and defensive classes to sustain combat operations. Whereas the SUPPLY TRUCK is unarmored and unarmed the APC has armor and light weapons.
RADAR
The Radar truck can greatly extend the radar coverage of nearby friendly units, the Radar truck uses its datalink to extend radar coverage to friendly units and share tracking enemy contacts beyond its Radar truck’s own range. The Radar truck can be used offensively as well as defensively, in jamming mode, the radar truck degrades the performance of other nearby radars and jams aircraft, helicopters, SAMs, radar-guided missiles, and drones, and reduces the ability of nearby enemies to detect friendly units. This allows the Radar truck to mask the movement of units near it.
UGV
The Unmanned Ground Vehicle can move ahead of other assault vehicles using radar stations to extend the coverage of the vehicle. The UGV can not operate outside of the radar range.
WHEEL IFV
MRAP
The Mine Resistant Armored Personnel Vehicle can operate as a scout and security vehicle escorting unarmored supply trucks and defensive vehicles in transit. The MRAP is fast and protected against light arms.
